The choir is an enthusiastic group of singers from the six churches in the Benefice and mainly leads the music in the joint Benefice service normally held on the fifth Sunday of the month and other major services and festivals (e.g. Choral Evensong and Steventon’s annual Jane Austen service) as well as the occasional wedding or funeral. Although primarily an Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Base (SATB) choir concentrating on traditional Anglican church music, we are very flexible and adaptable to changing needs and circumstances. We would currently be particularly pleased to welcome more tenors and basses. The choir is led by Marilyn Wright and accompanied by our organist Paul Wright.
