Recent Highlights
St Mary’s continues to experience steady progress across key areas of church life, with encouraging developments in people, projects, and partnership:
- Bell Restoration – March 2026
The final phase of the bell installation work has been underway throughout March, with completion expected by Thursday 26 March 2026.
- JoyZone
The most recent JoyZone session saw strong repeat participation from both church families and the wider community, with the next session scheduled for late April.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to a number of important developments over the coming months:
- Service of Dedication for the Bells
A Re-hallowing service will take place in the evening of Palm Sunday. Mayor Cllr Colin Philimore will be in attendance. This will be a significant milestone in a project that has received outstanding local support.
- JoyZone Spring Event – Late April 2026
The next JoyZone event will take place at the end of April 2026, offering another creative and engaging gathering for families.
- Bishop Kelly’s Visit – 7 June 2026
Bishop Kelly will visit the parish in June 2026, with a celebration service scheduled for the evening of 7 June 2026.
