Having been renovated by Whites of Appleton, St Mary’s bells will be returning to Overton at the end of March.

There will be a short service of Hallowing of the Bells at 6:00 pm on Palm Sunday, attended by Kelly, Bishop of Basingstoke and also the Mayor of Basingstoke, Overton’s own Counsellor Colin Philimore.

All are welcome to attend this historic service. The church will be open as usual to allow the public to see the renovated bells in the days before they are re-hung in the tower.
