At St. Mary’s, we believe that everyone has a unique role to play in serving our community. Whether you’re interested in helping with worship, youth ministry, children’s programs or administrative tasks, there’s a place for you here.
From serving communion to leading intercessions or cleaning the church, your involvement is invaluable. Many of these roles are on a rotating basis, so you can commit to as much or as little as your schedule allows.
If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to be a part of our vibrant community, we encourage you to join our team.
There is information further down the page explaining each role. Please fill in the form below or speak to a Church Warden for more information. (* required fields)
A server assists the minister by helping distribute the communion elements and tidying the altar post-service. It’s ideal if you prefer a visible role without speaking and might be just the thing for you.
Do you enjoy reading the Bible? If so, why not consider reading the Bible passages during Sunday services? It’s done on a rota, typically monthly, and can be a flexible duty.
Our church aims to warmly welcome everyone. Sidespeople greet worshippers at the door. Join us in this vital role; we seek friendly volunteers willing to give a bit of time.
The Test is distributed to around 600 houses in the area each month. If you’d like to help with this, perhaps by delivering to you own road, or one close, please get in touch using the form above.
