Each year we join in this global, ecumenical prayer
movement inviting Christians around the world to pray
from Ascension Day to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus. We shall be joining with over one million Christians from 90% of the countries in the world.

This year, as last, we shall start with a Benefice service at Steventon Church on Ascension Day Thursday 29th May at 10:30. Thereafter we shall meet daily (except Sunday) from 9:00 to 9:30 in St Mary’s Church, Overton for a time of reflective prayer using this year’s Novena booklet written by The Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, called ‘Ten lessons and one great hope’. This is a meditation on the Lord’s Prayer.

Please do come when you can, you don’t have to come to all. If you cannot come to the daily sessions but would like to join in, we have copies of the Novena for you to use at home.
