Whether you&#8217;re interested in helping permenantly or on the odd occasion with worship, singing with the choir, churchyard maintenance, flower arranging there&#8217;s a place for you here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your involvement is invaluable. opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3\">Readers<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you enjoy reading the Bible? If so, why not consider reading the Bible passages during Sunday services? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4\">Sidespeople<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our church aims to warmly welcome everyone. Sidespeople greet worshippers at the door. Join us in this vital role; we seek friendly volunteers willing to give a bit of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5\">Jane Austen Greeters<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have a number of pre-arranged national and international visitors to St Nicholas though-out the year and need to be welcomed. So if you have some knowledge of Jane and her life connected with Steventon and would love to talk about this to others &#8211; your help would be appreciated<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6\">Parish Magazine Delivery<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The North Waltham, Steventon, Ashe and Deane Parish Magazine is distributed to around 200 houses in this area each month. If you\u2019d like to help with this, perhaps by delivering to you own road, or one close, please get in touch using the form above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7\">Churchyard Maintenance<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dependent upon the season there is little to a lot of work to be done, mowing, strimming and general garden maintenance.
