Children are welcome at all our services and events. We have an activity table that can be set up to keep the children entertained whilst the older family members attend a service. We also have some toys and books in a cupboard that can be made available.
We have close links with the children, and staff, at North Waltham Primary School, inviting them to services such as Harvest Festival, the Christmas Story and the Remembrance Parade.
Would you like to run a young children’s group? If you have the desire and skills to lead a young children’s group, please contact one of our Church Wardens, to discuss the possibility. Safeguard training will be provided and DBS checks will be made. Thank you.
View Children's CalendarWe collaborate with Lifespring Community Church to put on Joyzone events roughly once a quarter.
Currently we are in the process of looking to appoint a Children and Families Minister to support and broaden our offer.
We have strong links with our local Primary School and they visit the church regularly, as well as using it for Christmas concerts and Easter Productions. Our Assemblies Team go in weekly to present ‘Open the Book’ Stories. We also supply a couple of Foundation Governors to support the running of the school.
