Refurbishment 2025\/6<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do you care about the bells in Overton? Would you miss them if they were gone? The bells and the bell tower at St Mary\u2019s form a unique part of the fabric of the church but they are also central part of Overton church and village life. Can you imagine coming to church on Sunday morning without the bells? Would you miss the clock chimes? Where would we be without the sounds of Friday evening bell practice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bells last underwent a major refurbishment more than 60 years ago and it\u2019s now time for a major overhaul to retune and rehang the bells, replace the sound proofing and replace the louvres in the tower. Your generous donations will secure the bells for future generations of church members and Overtonians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
